About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Work with named or large key accounts to provide product solutions, develop new business, ensure satisfaction, and maintain positive ongoing relationships
- Manage generally very long sales cycles involving broad, high-priced systems requiring Executive approval from the Customer and the Company
- Work with internal sales personnel to propose specific solutions for a given account or partner
- Manage revenue goals for the given account/client
- Provide regular updates to senior sales/operations staff concerning account issues, financial status, and related matters
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor's degree in biology or chemistry or STEM
- Minimum of 5 years sales experience
- Experience selling complex laboratory workflow configurations
- Experience selling Reproductive Health Products into Newborn Screening Laboratories
- Must have experience selling into Public Health Laboratories
- Project management experience a plus
- Must have excellent communication skills
- Must be organized and be able to multi-task
- Must work well in team environment
- Must be able to travel up to 50%
