About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Build and ship fast, accessible, well-tested user interfaces in React and TypeScript
Own code from inception through production support
Architect clean, simple solutions to business requirements
Collaborate with backend engineers on API design and maintain consistent, scalable APIs aligned with architecture standards
Work with designers and product stakeholders to meet business goals and improve customer experience
Shape requirements and specifications and flag UX challenges early with alternatives
Improve and enforce coding standards through thoughtful code review
Use modern tooling, including AI-assisted development, responsibly to improve speed and quality
Collaborate with globally distributed, multi-disciplinary teams
Create and maintain technical documentation
Mentor colleagues and share knowledge across the team

Requirements

What you’ll need

Proven experience as a Frontend Software Engineer building and delivering production-ready applications using React and TypeScript
Strong knowledge and application of software design patterns
Experience with unit and integration testing and code reviews
Experience designing and consuming APIs
Proficiency with Continuous Integration and Deployment (CI/CD) workflows
Strong English communication skills
Nice to have: Experience building accessible WCAG 2.2 AA interfaces
Nice to have: Experience working with a design system
Nice to have: Familiarity with GraphQL
Nice to have: Familiarity with React Native
Nice to have: Experience with performance optimisation
Nice to have: Experience with production monitoring
