About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Analyse sales data and market trends to support purchasing decisions
Plan and place supplier orders in line with business requirements
Manage ongoing communication with approximately 10–20 vendors each month
Track order progress, supplier commitments, and delivery deadlines
Coordinate warehouse preparation and readiness for onward fulfilment
Liaise with Amazon on relevant order and fulfilment matters
Identify delays or discrepancies early and coordinate their resolution
Maintain accurate records and keep colleagues informed of progress, risks, and next steps

Requirements

What you’ll need

At least five years of relevant experience in procurement, purchasing, order management, or supply chain operations
Strong numerical and analytical skills, with confidence interpreting sales data
A structured, consistent approach to managing multiple suppliers and deadlines
Excellent follow-through and proactive communication
Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with a distributed team
An easygoing, professional manner and high standards of accountability
Availability for South African daytime hours and some evening work
A reliable computer, internet connection, and suitable remote working setup
Comfort working with Google Workspace
E-commerce or Amazon experience is an advantage, but is not essential
