About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Grow existing customers and identify and create new customers within the assigned territory
  • Collaborate with Product Managers and suppliers’ sales channels and management to meet or exceed monthly sales quotas at appropriate gross margins
  • Increase customer satisfaction by understanding customer applications and strategies and proposing suitable solutions
  • Visit customers consistently to determine requirements and recommend specific products and solutions
  • Generate new and repeat sales by providing timely new product information
  • Increase sales through cross-selling, up-selling, and add-on sales
  • Work with supplier sales channels and visit customers to recommend product solutions for design requirements
  • Use RFMW CRM systems to track, manage, maintain, and expand new and repeat sales activity with key customers
  • Use suppliers’ design registration programs to manage new design activity and maximize gross profit
  • Develop and execute account plans and grow revenue and design wins in target accounts
  • Present pricing, credit, and terms according to standard procedures and customer profitability profiles
  • Coordinate with Product Managers and Customer Service to manage orders, backlog, quotes, samples, and returns
  • Prepare reports, presentations, feedback, and forecasts for suppliers’ QBRs or management meetings when required
  • Recommend partner-supplier product solutions based on customer product roadmaps
  • Help suppliers guide product development and roadmaps in support of future customer trends
  • Perform additional duties as assigned

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor's degree required in Engineering or similar discipline
  • 5–7 years of progressive industry-related experience preferred, including sales, marketing, product management, distribution, etc.
  • General knowledge of the RF industry
  • Intermediate-level knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Outlook preferred
  • Comfortable calling on Engineering and Purchasing
  • Strong communication skills, including producing and giving presentations and developing relationships
  • Successful track record of developing new customers and increasing sales and profitability
  • Willingness to travel within the assigned territory and occasionally for training and trade shows
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks with shifting priorities and varying deadlines
  • Excellent organizational and project management skills
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and web-based CRM tools
