About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Plan, manage, and further develop projects and initiatives
- Collaborate with sites, site management, Sales, and central specialist departments to develop sustainable business solutions
- Prepare project cost calculations and assess economic viability
- Source, structure, and analyze relevant key performance indicators
- Develop options, solution approaches, and assessments of their financial impact
- Prepare analyses and decision-making materials for key decision-makers
- Determine and analyze cost structures at the sites, including machinery and personnel costs as well as performance metrics
- Conduct post-project cost analyses and prepare meaningful reports
- Align results with site managers and support the further evaluation and development of projects
- Support the Head of Infrastructure and Central Engineering with site-related issues and projects
- Drive site development and identify optimization potential in structures, processes, and services
- Lead and manage projects, coordinate internal departments and stakeholders, and monitor actions, deadlines, and progress
- Develop concepts and solution approaches
- Prepare presentations, analyses, and minutes
- Prepare for and follow up on Engineering and Sales meetings, including structured tracking of agreed actions
- Support the Executive Management team with operational and strategic projects
- Prepare, review, and coordinate decision-making documents for management
Requirements
What you’ll need- Successfully completed bachelor's or master's degree
- Willingness to work primarily at one of the sites in Heilbronn, Mannheim, or Stuttgart
- Regular travel to other sites
- High willingness to travel and flexibility when collaborating across sites
- High level of commitment and strong teamworking skills
- Independent and responsible approach to work
- Excellent communication skills and a confident manner
- Assertiveness and initiative
- Independent, structured, and goal-oriented working style
- Strong strategic and analytical thinking skills
- Ability to analyze data, identify correlations, and derive recommendations for action
- Strong affinity for digital technologies and innovative solutions
- Very confident user of Microsoft 365 applications
- Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Excel
