About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Own the roadmap for Rhythm’s customer-facing products across enrollment, customer portal, retention, and renewal experiences
- Drive measurable improvements in conversion and retention, establish success metrics, and report outcomes
- Lead retention and churn reduction initiatives
- Use customer data, funnel analytics, segmentation, and user feedback to identify high-impact opportunities
- Monitor product performance after launch and continuously iterate
- Partner with Marketing and the Head of Growth to define hypotheses and run product experiments
- Design, prioritize, and run A/B tests across acquisition, enrollment, engagement, and renewal
- Translate experiment results into product decisions and future priorities
- Build a consistent experimentation practice with defined hypotheses, metrics, results, and next steps
- Partner with Product Design to simplify digital customer experiences
- Provide final product workflow and requirements sign-off on customer-facing designs before implementation
- Balance customer needs, business objectives, technical considerations, and measurable outcomes
- Align Marketing, Sales, Operations, Customer Care, Analytics, Design, and Engineering around priorities
- Translate business objectives and customer problems into product requirements, user stories, workflows, and success metrics
- Partner with Engineering throughout the software development lifecycle using Agile delivery
- Communicate strategy, priorities, tradeoffs, performance, and recommendations to stakeholders and Executive Leadership
- Independently own the Growth & Lifecycle product area and roadmap
Requirements
What you’ll need- 3+ years of Product Management experience, focused on growth, lifecycle, retention, or other B2C customer-facing products
- Track record of building and shipping customer-facing experiences that measurably improved conversion, retention, or engagement
- Hands-on experience designing, running, and interpreting A/B tests
- Strong understanding of conversion funnels and customer behaviors influencing acquisition, activation, engagement, retention, and renewal
- Experience working closely with UI/UX designers
- Strong stakeholder management skills
- Strong analytical skills and comfort using customer and product data
- Understanding of the software development lifecycle, including roadmap planning, PRDs, user stories, and Agile delivery
- Clear, direct, and concise communication skills
- Ability to work independently and take full ownership in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment
- Nice to have: experience in retail energy, utilities, subscription, recurring-billing, SaaS, telecom, insurance, or FinTech
- Nice to have: Product Marketing or Go-to-Market background
- Nice to have: lifecycle analytics experience, including churn, CLV, segmentation, and retention cohorts
- Nice to have: SQL and data tools such as Databricks, Tableau, Google Analytics, or FullStory
- Nice to have: experimentation platforms and Figma
- Nice to have: user interview experience and combining qualitative and quantitative data
