About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Learn, assist team members, and complete technical tasks supporting, automating, and enhancing development systems management
- Complete an assigned project evaluating, improving, and automating system or tool functions such as security, server management, or AWS management
- Understand current implementations, research and propose improvements, and complete technical tasks supporting Development Support and User team requirements
- Learn and collaborate with Development Support technical experts and professionals
- Support AWS cloud infrastructure and development servers and networks
- Recommend solutions to project problems and issues
- Determine and examine software alternatives
- Contribute to project planning
- Improve processes related to the specific assignment
- Document work
- Present a project overview and summary to the executive team at the end of the internship
Requirements
What you’ll need- Working towards a B.S. or M.S. in Computer Science or Information Technology
- Currently enrolled in an accredited college or university, or enrolled to continue education in an accredited graduate program
- Cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher
- Successfully complete all required screenings prior to hire
- Knowledge of Linux and Windows operating system installation, support, and troubleshooting
- Interest in learning system support and configuration
- Interest in programming languages such as Bash, Python, Ansible, JavaScript, and PowerShell
- Knowledge of Agile software development and support
- System skills on Linux and Windows platforms
- Analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and in a collaborative team environment
- Strong communication and teaming skills
- Effectively collaborate on technical issues with mentors and teams
