Key responsibilities & impact

Design and implement systems interfacing with large language models for coding applications
Develop, refine, and optimize prompts
Assist in adapting and evaluating foundation models and AI services for software engineering and business applications
Rapidly create and test AI-powered capabilities using Python and modern AI frameworks
Establish repeatable frameworks to validate AI feature robustness
Collaborate with core engineering to translate prototypes into production features
Research emerging AI technologies and contribute recommendations
Use AI-assisted development tools to improve productivity and code quality
Develop and maintain APIs, web services, and user-facing applications
Participate in testing, observability, and performance analysis of AI-enabled features
Support responsible AI practices, including evaluation, safety, security, and monitoring
Contribute to cloud-based application development and deployment
Participate in pair programming, code reviews, and team brainstorming
Perform additional tasks as directed by management

Requirements

What you’ll need

Currently enrolled in an accredited college or university
Studying Math, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Data Science, Mathematics, Artificial Intelligence, or a related technical field
Pursuing a degree in a related major
Some former work or internship experience
Cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher
Successfully complete all required screenings prior to hire
Python programming
Web development frameworks such as React, Angular, or Flask/Django
SQL databases such as PostgreSQL
Experience or interest in Large Language Models / Deep Learning
Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
Preferred: experience with AI development frameworks such as LangChain, Semantic Kernel, or LlamaIndex
Preferred: experience with AI platforms and APIs from major cloud providers or foundation model vendors
Preferred: exposure to Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), vector databases, embeddings, and agentic workflows
Preferred: experience with Microsoft Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud
Preferred: familiarity with Docker and Kubernetes
Preferred: experience with CI/CD pipelines, DevOps practices, or infrastructure automation
Preferred: understanding of responsible AI principles, AI evaluation methodologies, and software security best practices
Preferred: demonstrated software-building experience through coursework, research projects, hackathons, open-source contributions, or internships
