About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Proactively manage the cost of building projects from initial design stages through completion
- Manage costs incurred through maintenance and operation once buildings are operational
- Join the established Cost Management team in Cardiff
- Deliver cost management services across residential, higher education, infrastructure, and listed-building projects
- Work across private and public sector projects
- Maintain client-facing relationships and high standards of technical delivery
- Manage stakeholders and develop client accounts
- Pursue progression and development opportunities
Requirements
What you’ll need- Proven technical delivery experience on similar projects
- Previous experience in a Quantity Surveyor / Cost Manager role in a consultancy environment
- Client-facing experience, ensuring a high standard of technical delivery
- Stakeholder management with a clear focus on developing client accounts
- Degree qualified in Quantity Surveying or similar technical discipline
- RICS Accredited
- Client-focused, positive collaborator who shares knowledge and supports peers and seniors
- Team player with a strong willingness to learn
- Positive and proactive approach
- Commitment to delivering customer service excellence with good commercial results
