About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Develop client relationships continuously
  • Focus on sales, market share, sales tracking, and achieving territory sales quota
  • Evaluate market trends and gather competitive information affecting regional sales, profitability, and future product potential
  • Represent Riedel Communications’ voice and vision in the territory
  • Maintain the company’s territory database
  • Complete special projects as assigned
  • Coordinate product demonstrations, evaluations, and proof-of-concept demos with Technical Services
  • Provide product education to resellers and coordinate end-user training with Technical Services
  • Sell to end users and determine direct fulfilment or partner fulfilment based on customer preference
  • Implement and maintain a regional sales plan
  • Lead sales presentations and monthly business reviews with customers and channel partners
  • Meet targets for profitable sales volume and strategic objectives in assigned accounts
  • Track sales pipeline and bookings against quota and other metrics
  • Leverage strategic relationships and partnerships to drive revenue
  • Represent Riedel at regional trade shows
  • Manage, develop, and own productive relationships with key customer personnel
  • Assess, clarify, and validate customer needs proactively
  • Coordinate support, service, management, technical, and corporate resources to meet customer objectives and expectations
  • Report directly to the VP of Sales North America

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Candidate must be based in the South Central, South East, or Western Region of the USA
  • Completed (technical) university studies, e.g., industrial engineering, or a combination of business and technology
  • Relevant, proven “system” sales experience for manufacturing and system integration
  • Understanding of the nature and demands of Broadcast, Entertainment, and other Riedel markets
  • Working knowledge of technologies sold by Riedel Communications
  • Proven experience working with upscale companies, venues, clients, and channel partners in the assigned territory
  • Proficient verbal and written presentation and communication skills
  • Ability to communicate information to sales management, marketing, sales operations, and technical services in a timely and respectful manner
  • Knowledge and use of database management programs such as Salesforce
  • Immediate proficiency with Microsoft Office and Salesforce or similar sales management package
  • Spanish as a second language is a plus
