About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Assist the Theater GM in leading Sales, Marketing, Account Management, Service Delivery and other functions across the Americas
  • Coordinate activities across functions including Field Marketing, Service Delivery, Global On-Boarding, Legal, Finance and HR
  • Develop and execute plans for sales, revenue, client retention, client satisfaction, costs and profit
  • Support sales leadership in exceeding quarterly quota targets for new business and renewals
  • Prepare accurate weekly sales forecasts and pipeline summaries
  • Support recruitment, retention and development of high-performing sales, business development, field sales and account management teams
  • Support Alliance and Partnership activities to build pipeline opportunities and drive new business
  • Organize staff meetings, weekly, monthly and quarterly reviews
  • Create agendas, templates and presentation materials; prepare presenters and review presentations
  • Prepare executive communications and materials for C-level meetings
  • Help execute weekly, quarterly and annual operating cadence
  • Participate in annual planning across Sales, Products, Finance and Marketing
  • Drive cross-geography, cross-function and cross-team projects and initiatives
  • Coordinate special projects involving partnerships, investments and legal matters
  • Provide data, metrics, analysis, insights and guidance for executive decision-making
  • Serve as a trusted resource and sounding board for the Theater GM
  • Conduct annual analysis of global field operations to inform strategic direction and investment choices

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Successful track record in a similar role as Chief of Staff or head of Business Operations for a senior executive in companies with at least $300 million in annual revenue
  • Experience leading Business Operations or Sales Operations teams in Enterprise software companies
  • Experience in staff roles for C-level leaders of customer-facing functions (Sales, Marketing, Account Management)
  • Prefer experience in high-growth software or software-related services businesses
  • Direct experience in line jobs across multiple functions and disciplines, especially Sales, Marketing and Finance
  • Direct experience in customer-facing roles in Sales organizations, post-sales Account Management, Marketing or Service Delivery
  • Experience with both new business/new customer acquisition and recurring revenue streams/renewals
  • Proven track record of driving strong business success, sales and client satisfaction results against target plans
  • Participation in management teams overseeing global activities
  • Experience with and understanding of business financials and P&Ls
  • Participation in annual planning cycles and budget processes
  • Experience with market and financial analysis to frame and recommend investment decisions
  • Experience with organizational transformations and change management
  • Proven business judgment and acumen
  • Strong analytical skills and judgment
