About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Drive deal progression for Policy Protect opportunities across new logos and Riskified's existing US merchant base
  • Partner with Account Executives and Account Managers to identify merchants with policy abuse exposure and lead product-specific sales-cycle activities
  • Run discovery on returns, refund, promotion and loyalty policies and translate pain into business cases and ROI stories
  • Deliver Policy Protect demos and answer detailed questions from Fraud, Loss Prevention, Customer Service, Ecommerce and Finance stakeholders
  • Scope and run proof-of-value analyses and pilots, define success criteria, and turn results into paths to contract
  • Bring merchant feedback and competitive intelligence to Product and Marketing to shape roadmap and positioning
  • Build and maintain Policy Protect enablement materials, including talk tracks, objection handling, case studies and FAQs
  • Stay current on policy abuse across retail, ecommerce and digital goods and on the competitive landscape

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 3-5+ years of experience in a quota-carrying or customer-facing commercial role such as Sales, Solutions Engineering, Sales Engineering or Product Specialist, ideally in ecommerce, payments, fraud or loss prevention
  • Familiarity with retail returns, refunds, promotions or loyalty programs; experience with policy abuse or loss prevention is a strong plus
  • Proven ability to build a business case and sell value to multiple stakeholders, including senior leaders
  • Technical fluency to discuss APIs, data flows and ecommerce architecture credibly, and willingness to go deeper quickly
  • Strong communication skills and ability to make complex concepts clear and persuasive for non-technical audiences
  • Proactive, curious mindset; comfortable working in an overlay model and managing several merchant engagements at once
  • Based in the US, with willingness to travel occasionally for merchant and internal meetings
