About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Set the technical and execution direction for a full-stack team delivering a cohesive patient experience
  • Shape the strategy and evolution of AI-enabled patient experiences
  • Partner with Product and Design to simplify complex healthcare workflows for patients
  • Turn ambiguous patient and business problems into priorities and executable plans
  • Coordinate across engineering teams and systems to connect patient-experience capabilities
  • Coach and develop engineers while engaging with technical decisions, product tradeoffs, patient feedback, and data
  • Own engineering execution and direction for a highly visible product area
  • Partner with Product, Design, Data, and engineering teams across Ro
  • Support treatment-journey experiences, including treatment-plan coordination and care-team counseling and support

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Experience leading and developing high-performing engineering teams
  • Track record of coaching engineers, setting clear expectations, and creating an environment where teams can do their best work
  • Demonstrated ownership of meaningful consumer-facing products or experiences
  • Strong product and UX instincts
  • Technical depth and judgment in architecture and implementation decisions
  • Experience operating effectively in ambiguous, fast-moving environments
  • Strong cross-functional leadership and communication skills
  • Experience driving work across teams and systems not directly controlled
  • Technical fluency with React and TypeScript
  • Experience working with Python or similar backend technologies
  • Data-driven approach to product development, including defining success measures and evaluating impact
