About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Develop, maintain, and enhance APIs and workers, ensuring quality, performance, and scalability
Implement integrations with external channels and partners, including the Meta/WhatsApp Cloud API and messaging providers, using HTTP and webhooks
Develop, analyze, and optimize SQL queries and stored procedures in SQL Server, taking large-volume databases into consideration
Develop and maintain automated tests, including unit and acceptance tests, using tools and practices such as xUnit and BDD/Gherkin
Investigate and resolve technical issues, contributing to the continuous improvement of solutions
Participate in code reviews, promoting development best practices
Contribute to the modernization, refactoring, and maintenance of existing systems
Work collaboratively with the team, sharing knowledge and seeking efficient solutions to technical challenges

Requirements

What you’ll need

Strong experience with C# and .NET, preferably .NET 6 or later, in production environments
Experience developing REST APIs, including contracts, versioning, and error handling
Strong knowledge of SQL Server, including data modeling, indexes, execution plan analysis, and stored procedure development
Experience with messaging and asynchronous processing, including queues, retry policies, and idempotency
Knowledge of and hands-on experience with automated testing integrated into the development process
Experience with Git, pull requests, and code reviews
Familiarity with Artificial Intelligence tools used to support development productivity and quality
Bachelor's degree, technology degree, or technical education
