About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Build and maintain GitOps workflows with Git as the single source of truth for infrastructure and application deployments
- Manage promotion flows across development, production, and edge-device environments
- Write and maintain Terraform or similar infrastructure-as-code for the AWS environment through pull requests, reviews, and automated pipelines
- Build and improve GitLab CI/CD pipelines to test, validate, and deploy changes safely
- Set up monitoring, alerting, and dashboards to support platform reliability
- Participate in incident response and contribute to post-mortems
- Apply software security best practices
- Automate repetitive operational work and develop small tools or services
- Support engineering teams with deployments, environment setup, and cost visibility
Requirements
What you’ll need- 3+ years of experience in a Cloud, DevOps, Platform, or Infrastructure engineering role
- Hands-on experience with GitOps best practices
- Experience building CI/CD pipelines
- Familiarity with infrastructure-as-code, ideally Terraform
- Familiarity with AWS, including EKS, RDS, S3, and EC2
- Scripting or programming skills in Python, Go, or a similar language
- Basic understanding of software security fundamentals and willingness to deepen it
- Basic knowledge of Kubernetes is a nice-to-have
- Experience deploying to edge devices or managing fleets of distributed systems is a nice-to-have
- Experience with secrets tooling such as External Secrets, Sealed Secrets, or Vault is a nice-to-have
