Key responsibilities & impact

Analyze client requirements for effective master data and invoicing setup and determine manual versus systematic setup
Create client profiles and instructions for invoice special handling and distribution
Resolve invoicing issues and system invoice errors
Prepare inter-unit/intercompany adjustments, rebates, account reconciliations, and internal reports
Prepare rebate calculations, journal entries, and client check requests
Research and resolve sales tax calculations, exemptions, and invoicing issues
Review tax certificates and provide tax guidance
Provide extensive customer service to internal and external clients
Investigate and resolve Bonus Investigations Reports (BIRs) and sales bonus inquiries
Participate in User Acceptance Testing for system or technology changes, upgrades, and enhancements
Identify or contribute to process improvements
Adhere to Robert Half policies, procedures, internal controls, and Sarbanes-Oxley requirements
Handle special projects as assigned
Collaborate with RH Field Sales offices, support staff, clients, and the Billing Production team

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Accounting or equivalent, relevant work experience
With a degree, 3+ years’ experience in a financial or accounting position with an emphasis on billing; without a degree, 5+ years’ experience
Highly analytical with excellent reconciliation experience and sound accounting working knowledge
Prior experience in an ERP, preferably PeopleSoft Financials, and a high volume processing environment required
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook), 10-key, and Windows applications
Web billing platform experience preferred, such as Ariba and Coupa
Ability to clearly and concisely convey ideas verbally and in writing in a professional business setting
Highly organized, detail-oriented, service-oriented, and able to demonstrate problem-solving ability while prioritizing responsibilities
Ability to perform as a team player while independently completing tasks in a coordinated environment
Customer service skills and a high level of professionalism
Ability to grasp new concepts, including technology
Successful completion of a background check as a condition of employment
