About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Lead total account management and drive commercial adoption for Roche’s Point of Care portfolio across the healthcare continuum
- Champion molecular Point of Care diagnostics specializing in Respiratory, Sexually Transmitted Infections, and Women’s Health
- Support hospital glucose monitoring platforms and integrated healthcare IT solutions
- Drive new customer acquisition and strategic account expansion across Integrated Health Networks, hospital laboratories, emergency departments, urgent care centers, and physician office laboratories
- Engage and influence laboratory directors, department chairs, Point of Care coordinators, and executive hospital leadership
- Position healthcare IT solutions and middleware connectivity across inpatient and outpatient settings
- Uncover customer needs, articulate clinical workflows, and demonstrate return on investment
- Formulate and execute territory-specific business plans and pipeline forecasts
- Conduct system demonstrations, product presentations, and business reviews
- Partner with field application specialists, medical affairs, technical support, and commercial operations to ensure implementation and customer success
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
- 3+ years of relevant consultative sales or equivalent related experience
- Participation in an approved accelerated development, fellowship, or rotational program may be considered in lieu of experience
- Strong oral and written communication capabilities
- Proven track record of delivering impactful executive presentations
- Candidates must live within 50 miles of the territory
- Preferred: prior sales and account management experience within Point of Care diagnostics, molecular testing, or hospital laboratory settings
- Preferred: proven track record navigating Integrated Health Networks, hospital buying committees, and Group Purchasing Organizations
- Preferred: familiarity with medical device connectivity, healthcare information technology, Electronic Health Record integration, and diagnostic middleware solutions
- Preferred: experience managing multi-stakeholder capital equipment evaluations and recurring reagent/assay sales cycles
