About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Formulate and execute enterprise architecture strategy for the enterprise action layer
  • Enable governed access to business capabilities through APIs, events, MCP, and A2A
  • Redefine integration patterns and establish reference architectures and design standards for Skills, Agentic AI, and event-driven AI workflows
  • Define and execute governance standards and controls for AI integrations
  • Establish Architecture Decision Records, API/MCP/Event design reviews, and AI-specific security frameworks
  • Design, standardize, and govern enterprise MCP server and client architectures
  • Architect and deliver low-latency, resilient streaming pipelines using MuleSoft, Solace, Apache Kafka, AWS, and Kubernetes
  • Evaluate, pilot, and drive adoption of novel AI protocols and agentic workflows
  • Build Proofs of Concept validating agentic integration patterns, RAG, and AI Skills
  • Collaborate with Data & AI streams, product engineering teams, product owners, data engineers, enterprise architects, and business domain leads
  • Mentor engineering teams and advocate for standardized integration and AI tools
  • Align technical capabilities with business strategy and promote protocol-driven, design-first thinking

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 8+ years of experience as an Integration Architect/SME
  • Deep practical experience integrating enterprise platforms including ServiceNow, SAP S/4HANA, Workday, Snowflake, and Veeva
  • Extensive hands-on knowledge of Enterprise Integration Patterns
  • Experience designing scalable integration solutions combining API management and event-driven architectures (EDA)
  • Experience in highly regulated industries such as Pharmaceuticals or Healthcare is a strong plus
  • Hands-on expertise with MCP, A2A, agentic workflows, and Skills
  • Knowledge of LLMs, RAG architectures, and vector search is an added advantage
  • Strong proficiency in MuleSoft, Solace, Apache Kafka/Confluent, AWS Kinesis, REST/gRPC microservices
  • Deep experience with OAuth2, OIDC, On-Behalf-Of (OBO) token exchange, and identity propagation
  • Hands-on experience with AWS, Docker, Kubernetes, containerization, orchestration, and hybrid enterprise deployment patterns
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
  • Proactive mentorship approach
  • Willingness to work hands-on as an integration expert
