About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Deliver procurement contract management and advisory activities for Digital & Technology
- Draft and negotiate complex IT and technical contracts
- Provide specialist contracting input, advice, assistance, and know-how
- Manage business, legal, and compliance risks for internal stakeholders
- Partner with procurement and business stakeholders on contracting needs
- Create and provide tools, templates, playbooks, advice, counsel, and drafting assistance
- Develop, improve, and deliver contracting best practices, templates, playbooks, and training
- Gather feedback and input to meet reporting requirements
- Continuously develop, validate, enhance, and deploy services, tools, templates, playbooks, processes, and service levels
- Collaborate with contracting capability teams, procurement networks, and squads on project and foundational work
Requirements
What you’ll need- University degree required
- Business or legal degree preferable
- 5+ years of relevant procurement contracting experience, or 3+ years for those with legal credentials
- Expertise in legal and compliance fields, with broad delegated authority
- Proven experience managing and negotiating IT-specific contracts of all levels of complexity
- Understanding and ability to work with tax, insurance, import/export, global privacy, and compliance matters
- Ability to communicate difficult or highly complex concepts and negotiate effectively
- Entrepreneurial spirit, enterprise thinking, inclusive collaboration, and continuous learning
- Ability to work across procurement, business, and the broader Roche organization
