About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Deliver healthcare solutions to customers and their partners
  • Work closely with the Executive Director, Healthcare Market to shape the strategic vision for the ecosystem
  • Engage with healthcare stakeholders
  • Lead a diverse team of experts to drive growth and prioritize patient outcomes, customer satisfaction, and business objectives
  • Manage an ecosystem Commercial team responsible for diverse product portfolios
  • Align with ecosystem and therapeutic area priorities
  • Build, maintain, and leverage healthcare ecosystem networks and relationships
  • Co-create solutions with customers to improve patient outcomes, reduce costs, and improve quality of care
  • Contribute to and execute the strategic near- and long-term vision for the healthcare ecosystem and therapeutic areas
  • Assist Squads in identifying partnerships and execute partnerships under their direction
  • Lead development and execution of customer account planning for target accounts
  • Build, lead, and motivate a diverse team with functional and therapeutic expertise
  • Harness ecosystem team expertise to engage effectively and compliantly across the ecosystem
  • Create and foster a culture that enables employees to live the company’s Operating Principles
  • Travel to customer accounts and relevant therapeutic conferences as needed

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Required Bachelor’s Degree
  • 8 or more years of work experience
  • Minimum of 3 years of previous field management experience and/or marketing experience with cross-functional industry experience in commercial life sciences (pharma or biotechnology) or related industry
  • Experience engaging with key healthcare ecosystem players, such as payers and health systems
  • Account management or alliance/partnership management experience
  • Experience developing and implementing account plans for health ecosystem players
  • Proven track record in coaching, training and/or mentoring peers or others
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, including negotiation and relationship management
  • Preferred advanced degree
  • Preferred deep payer experience, including local, regional and national understanding of payers
  • Preferred account management experience, including local, regional and national understanding of health systems
  • In-depth knowledge of strategy development, including contracting strategy, administration and pull through
  • Strong executive presence and ability to engage with C-Suite executives
  • Strong account negotiation skills
  • Open to business travel and overnight travel
  • Significant driving of a company-provided or personal vehicle and prolonged periods of sitting are essential duties
  • Candidates preferred to live in Maine, New Hampshire, Eastern Massachusetts, or Rhode Island
