About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Optimize and automate deployment and management of platform and cloud-based services
- Drive cost-effectiveness, scalability, and security throughout the digital product lifecycle
- Design, implement, and maintain Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) pipelines
- Deploy and manage application underlying infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) principles
- Maintain stable, version-controlled infrastructure configurations
- Implement monitoring and observability solutions such as Grafana Cloud
- Measure and optimize software platform availability, scalability, and performance
- Implement security controls and infrastructure hardening throughout development and deployment cycles
- Partner with architects and developers to translate product strategies and business requirements into development tasks
- Track industry trends and emerging technologies
- Maintain clear documentation and provide technical mentorship to engineering colleagues
- Help evolve systems from reactive troubleshooting to proactive site reliability engineering, accelerating developer velocity and reducing downtime
Requirements
What you’ll need- 3 to 7 years of experience in the software development lifecycle
- Technical degree or equivalent practical experience
- Hands-on experience with source code management tools such as GitLab, GitHub, or Bitbucket
- Experience configuring automated deployment pipelines
- Practical knowledge of Infrastructure as Code and configuration management tools such as Terraform, Ansible, Vault, or Consul
- Experience in containers or Kubernetes environments
- Solid understanding of centralized observability and monitoring systems such as Grafana Cloud, Splunk, or LogicMonitor
- Effective oral and written communication skills in English
- Ability to work effectively across multiple time zones
- Willingness to travel occasionally
