About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Lead the end-to-end design and execution of primary market research studies
  • Author patient-centered screeners and surveys
  • Coordinate recruitment of diverse populations and manage fieldwork vendors
  • Conduct quantitative and qualitative analysis, including MaxDiff, conjoint, cluster, and factor analysis
  • Clean, analyze, and chart raw quantitative research data into meaningful stories
  • Conduct desk research and create landscape or topical reports using public-domain information
  • Synthesize patient-level, operational, primary, secondary, and multi-channel data into business-relevant narratives
  • Own and report on the patient strategy measurement framework, including patient experience, digital engagement and utilization, treatment initiation, onboarding milestones, and patient drop-off/retention
  • Establish measurement baselines, resolve data gaps, and evolve the framework as services and data sources develop
  • Mine medical literature, patient advocacy groups, social listening, forums, claims data, and internal databases for insights
  • Identify healthcare trends, white-space opportunities, patient emotions, motivators, barriers, and unmet needs
  • Build and maintain Patient Journey Maps, experience trackers, and longitudinal databases
  • Manage research fieldwork and data/technology vendor relationships, including scope, timelines, data-sharing feasibility, and quality assurance
  • Advise US-based affiliate stakeholders, align KPI definitions and data availability, and present findings and recommendations
  • Leverage GenAI to automate initial analysis of customer feedback and research transcripts
  • Identify opportunities to streamline recurring KPI tracking and cross-source data synthesis

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor's degree
  • 5–7 years of experience in the market and business research space in the Pharma, Healthcare and Biotechnology domain
  • Experience working with US customers
  • Strong understanding of the drug development process from clinical phases to launch and commercialization
  • Proven experience translating qualitative and quantitative market research into business-relevant insights and recommendations
  • Experience managing external research fieldwork and data/technology vendors, including scoping, timelines, and data feasibility discussions
  • Experience owning and reporting on measurement frameworks or KPIs, including establishing baselines when data does not exist
  • Hands-on experience with SQL, MS-Excel, and MS-PowerPoint
  • Working knowledge of GenAI applications for research synthesis
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills; ability to develop compelling stories, present to stakeholders, and influence decision-making
  • Self-starter with an innovative mindset and passion for solving complex problems
  • SAS, Python, AWS, R, and SPSS are nice to have
  • Highly motivated, learning-oriented, and quality-focused individuals preferred
