About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Greet patients and their families as the first point of contact
- Perform patient check-in and check-out procedures
- Process and collect payments
- Manage incoming calls and provide necessary information
- Provide direction to patients
- Schedule patient appointments
- Complete patient registration according to departmental policy
- Verify insurance eligibility and coverage
- Obtain precertification or authorization when applicable
Requirements
What you’ll need- 2 year degree or equivalent combination of education and work experience preferred
- Intermediate computer skills
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Ability to work Monday–Friday rotating shifts: 7:30 a.m.–4:00 p.m., 8:00 a.m.–4:30 p.m., 8:15 a.m.–4:45 p.m., or 8:30 a.m.–5:00 p.m.
- Some roles may require flexible hours, TB screening, or a valid driver’s license
