About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Design and implement a comprehensive S&OP framework, including processes, roles, calendars, inputs/outputs, and decision rights
  • Lead the rollout, pilot cycles, refinement, and full-scale deployment of S&OP
  • Establish and maintain demand review, supply/capacity review, pre-S&OP, and executive S&OP cycles
  • Drive organizational change management, stakeholder training, and coaching
  • Build aggregate demand planning models and consensus demand views
  • Develop supply, capacity, inventory, scenario, and sensitivity models
  • Integrate new product introductions and product lifecycle changes into S&OP
  • Orchestrate alignment across Sales/Commercial, Operations, Supply Chain, Finance, and Product/Clinical functions
  • Facilitate monthly executive S&OP meetings and drive consensus, trade-off decisions, and plan approval
  • Link S&OP outputs to financial plans and budgets
  • Define S&OP policies, standards, governance, data definitions, hierarchies, and metrics
  • Lead selection, enhancement, or implementation of S&OP/IBP tools and analytics
  • Establish KPIs and drive continuous improvement and benchmarking
  • Build and lead a small S&OP/planning team and coach leaders and planners

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain/Operations Management, Data Analytics, Statistics, Finance, or related field
  • 7 years of progressive experience in supply chain, planning, S&OP/IBP, or related roles
  • 3 years of progressive leadership experience
  • Demonstrated experience implementing or leading S&OP/IBP processes and tools
  • Proficiency with advanced planning systems, analytics/BI tools, and Excel/other modeling tools
  • Deep, hands-on understanding of demand planning, supply planning, capacity modeling, and inventory management
  • Experience with change management across multiple functions
  • Ability to facilitate cross-functional and C-suite discussions, drive alignment, and negotiate trade-offs
  • Strong modeling skills and comfort with scenario and sensitivity analysis
  • APICS/ASCM certification such as CPIM or CSCP (desired)
  • PMP or equivalent project management certification (desired)
  • Lean Six Sigma Green or Black Belt, or similar continuous improvement credential (desired)
