About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Contribute to shared React Native and web component libraries
  • Build accessible, reusable components focused on quality and usability
  • Develop components, tokens, patterns, documentation, and tooling for consistent user experiences
  • Collaborate with designers, product engineers, and stakeholders to translate design intent into durable implementations
  • Identify accessibility gaps and strengthen inclusive product practices
  • Contribute to motion design, micro-interactions, transitions, and interaction patterns
  • Create Storybook examples, usage guidance, migration notes, and technical documentation
  • Support product-team migrations and adoption of shared components
  • Write tests, maintain implementation quality, and participate in code reviews
  • Improve the design system based on real usage across the codebase

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 3+ years of professional software engineering experience
  • Experience ideally building user-facing product experiences with React, React Native, TypeScript, or similar technologies
  • Strong frontend fundamentals
  • Hands-on experience with accessibility or demonstrated interest in inclusive digital products
  • Knowledge of keyboard behavior, screen readers, focus management, semantic structure, color contrast, and usable interaction patterns
  • Interest in design systems, including component APIs, design tokens, documentation, adoption, consistency, flexibility, and standardization
  • Ability to collaborate closely with designers and engineers
  • Curiosity about motion design and interaction details
  • Clear written and code communication skills
  • Comfort working in ambiguity and breaking improvements into safe, incremental steps
  • Experience contributing to or maintaining a design system, component library, or shared frontend platform (nice to have)
  • Experience with React Native, mobile accessibility, animation libraries, or cross-platform UI patterns (nice to have)
  • Familiarity with Storybook, Figma, design tokens, visual regression testing, or frontend testing tools (nice to have)
  • Experience supporting migrations or adoption of shared components across a large codebase (nice to have)
