About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Build and manage the full business development pipeline across broker networks, employer groups, payers, TPAs, and other healthcare verticals
- Source and qualify leads and drive deals forward
- Lead complex, high-touch business development cycles lasting approximately 2–12 months
- Close new partnerships and launch early wins
- Collaborate with marketing and branding to develop pitch decks, one-pagers, case studies, and partner onboarding materials
- Build CRM, sales operations, outreach materials, and a repeatable channel playbook
- Represent the company externally with partners
- Work directly with the CEO to build the partnerships motion from scratch
- Collaborate with brand and product teams to ensure partnership materials and value propositions are clear
Requirements
What you’ll need- 4–6+ years of experience in healthcare partnerships, biz dev, or strategy
- Background in a high-performance environment: top-tier undergrad, MBA, consulting firm, or venture-backed startup
- Track record of closing complex, high-value deals
- Strong project management skills — ability to drive multiple deals forward without dropping the ball
- High integrity, low ego, and a desire to build something that matters
- Experience at an early-stage startup (nice-to-have)
- Exposure to employer benefits, digital health, or insurance tech (nice-to-have)
- Network of healthcare systems, brokers, payers, or benefit leaders (nice-to-have)
