Key responsibilities & impact

Work alongside full time employees and industry professionals improving existing products in an agile environment over 7 months
Develop new and existing products in an agile environment
Work with a dedicated mentor to navigate Rockwell, ramp up in the code base, and remove daily blockers
Apply software engineering knowledge areas including OOD/OOA, full development life cycle, agile methodology, system design, test driven development, test automation, and build and configuration management
Work full time during an academic term off from school

Requirements

What you’ll need

Must be pursuing a bachelor's or advanced degree from an accredited college or university
Ability to work full time over the Fall 2027 semester, from May 2027 to December 2027 or Spring 2027 semester, from Jan 2027 to August 2027
Legal authorization to work in the US is required
Rockwell Automation will not sponsor individuals for employment visas, now or in the future, for this job opening
Pursuing a bachelor's or advanced degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering or similar
Experience with C++ and Python
Previous exposure and knowledge of Agile methodology
Knowledge of Industrial automation environments including PLC or drives programming
Interest or prior experience with robotics teams or projects
