About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Liaise with and build relationships with customers' executive management teams to meet or exceed allocated sales targets
  • Sell industrial software, power control, and process control solutions
  • Prospect and identify new business opportunities through cold calling, networking, and market intelligence
  • Conduct client meetings and collaborate with teams and partners to refine messaging and offerings
  • Work with Sales, business units, Marketing, distributors, and systems integrators to ensure seamless delivery of solutions and services
  • Manage the full sales cycle from prospecting through solution negotiation and closing
  • Establish relationships with key decision-makers and influencers at target accounts
  • Stay current on life sciences automation trends, regulatory requirements, and automation technologies
  • Maintain accurate CRM records of pipeline activity, forecasts, and customer interactions

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering—Electronics, Instrumentation, IT, or a related discipline
  • 8–10 years of prior experience in industrial sales with a focus on new business development
  • Understanding of the life sciences industry's automation and digital solutions is an added advantage
  • Familiarity with related products is an added advantage
  • Eagerness and drive to secure new accounts
