About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Represent Rockwell Automation's comprehensive product and solution portfolio to a Global Account customer
- Oversee global partnership development with corporate influence points
- Communicate value propositions at an executive customer level
- Lead extended teams ensuring worldwide sales and support
- Increase the scope of product and service reach
- Facilitate communications between the Global Account and product groups
- Develop trust-based relationships with principal customer sponsors
- Formalize Global Account relationship expectations
- Identify new product and service growth opportunities
- Promote business growth through extended teams and balanced selling efforts
- Participate in manufacturing and implementing teams to provide information early
- Expand Rockwell Automation's global presence and deliver across geographic boundaries
- Model Executive Sales Professional capabilities and mentor sales colleagues
- Report to the Director, Global Industry
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor's degree or equivalent years of relevant experience
- Applicants must be legally authorized to work in Canada and the US
- A valid driver's license
- Ability to travel 30% of the time to customers, with some international travel required
- Bachelor's degree in an Engineering discipline preferred
- 8+ years of experience in technical sales, industrial distribution, systems integration or an engineering firm, or graduate of the Rockwell Automation Sales Training Program
- Applied experience in areas related to selling control/information solutions into target industries or supporting same
- Production/process engineering experience, manufacturing operations experience or similar work
- Experience selling at senior management and executive levels
- Experience conveying products and services in a manner demonstrating tangible economic value
- 8+ years of global sales experience
- Working knowledge of Industry 4.0 and Internet of Things technologies
- IoT / IIoT / Software / Annual Recurring Revenue-subscription model experience
- Experience working with all levels of a manufacturing enterprise, including CxO, operations leadership, technical leadership, plant leadership and OEM machine builders
