About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Provide business decision support, guidance, and oversight of FP&A processes, financial analysis, and internal controls for Orders, Sales, and Spend management
  • Review, consolidate, and analyze monthly financial results; identify risks and opportunities; recommend actions to improve orders, sales performance, and cost management
  • Allocate the Annual Operating Plan by partnering with financial teams and business partners to create projected annual targets
  • Create quarterly forecasts and regular outlooks for supported areas
  • Align the Annual Operating Plan with the Sales Incentive Plan and calculate and report incentive adjustments
  • Monitor capital spending and perform project management analysis to ensure reporting accuracy and limit exposure to unrecorded spending
  • Provide spending guidance and expertise to regional professionals and managers
  • Support the Americas Finance Manager with business planning, growth, efficiencies, profitability analysis, and special projects
  • Provide meaningful business data to the GSM leadership team
  • Prepare quarterly performance review data with Regional Directors for presentation to the RVP and senior leadership
  • Manage spending and revenue objectives in each sub-region using financial reporting and new tools
  • Prepare financial figures and predict future scenarios driven by regional macroeconomic conditions
  • Delegate responsibilities for spending, orders, and revenue analyses
  • Lead and supervise the Latin America FP&A team
  • Develop, train, recruit, retain, and motivate direct and indirect reports
  • Balance workloads and support team members’ professional development

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Minimum of five years or more years of experience in finance and/or accounting in budgeting, management reporting, and financial analysis required
  • Knowledge of revenue recognition principles in a US GAAP environment
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
  • Experience with SAP, Oracle Financial Management and HP
  • Fluent in English and Spanish; Portuguese is a plus
  • Bachelor or associate degree in Business Administrator, Accounting or other related field is preferred and may be concluded or in the final stages of completion
  • Post graduate degree in Finance, International Accounting and/or MBA is preferred
  • Ability to work independently with minimal guidance and prioritize multiple tasks under tight deadlines
  • Effective leadership, interpersonal, and communication skills
  • Strategic outlook and ability to operate as a change agent
