About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Gather and translate business requirements into scalable and impactful BI solutions
Design, develop, and maintain Power BI dashboards, reports, and semantic data models for enterprise use
Apply best practices in dimensional modeling, including star schema and semantic model design
Build and optimize data models using Power Query, DAX, and relational data principles
Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and validation across reports and datasets
Optimize dataset performance, including model size, refresh efficiency, and query performance
Align reporting outputs with standardized KPI definitions and business frameworks
Develop and maintain reusable datasets and governed data models
Identify and resolve data quality issues in collaboration with data owners
Provide end-to-end Power BI solution development, including data modeling, report design, performance optimization, and governance
Design, develop, and support Power BI dashboards, data models, and reporting solutions for data-driven decision-making across global stakeholders

Requirements

What you’ll need

Engineering graduate (B. Tech/BE - CS/IT/E&C)
Experience in Power BI enterprise environments
Deep expertise in Power BI Desktop, Power BI Service, Power BI Report Server, and Power Query
Advanced knowledge of DAX queries, calculated measures, and tables, including writing, tuning, and optimization
Strong experience building star and snowflake schema architectures, tabular models, and semantic data layers
Advanced SQL querying, stored procedures, and performance optimization on relational databases including SQL Server, Azure SQL, and Databricks
Experience connecting to diverse data sources, ETL, and designing automated incremental data refreshes
Row-Level Security implementation, workspace management, app publishing, deployment pipelines, and licensing structures
Preferred: 5+ years of experience
Preferred: Microsoft Certified: Power BI Data Analyst Associate (PL-300)
Preferred: Experience supporting services, manufacturing, industrial automation, engineering, or technology organizations
Preferred: Familiarity with ERP, CRM, service management, and financial systems
Preferred: Experience with AI, advanced analytics, or automation platforms
Preferred: Knowledge of Agile delivery methodologies and product-based delivery models
