About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Elicit, analyze, specify, and validate stakeholder business needs
- Collaborate with project sponsors to determine project scope and vision
- Conduct customer requirement-gathering interviews through workshops, questionnaires, surveys, site visits, workflow storyboards, use cases, and scenarios
- Define requirements-analysis scope, project impact, outcome criteria, and metrics
- Prioritize collected requirements with stakeholders and the project team
- Research and improve requirements-gathering processes
- Research products to meet requirements and support purchasing efforts
- Participate in quality assurance of solutions
- Analyze and verify requirements for completeness, consistency, feasibility, and standards conformity
- Develop requirements specifications, process models, diagrams, and charts
- Translate customer requirements into functional requirements for developers and project teams
- Conduct peer reviews of business requirements
- Interpret customer requirements into feasible options and communicate them to stakeholders
- Manage and track requirements throughout the project lifecycle
- Communicate business-requirement changes and solutions to project managers, sponsors, and stakeholders
- Communicate Program Increment plans and priorities and define PI goals
- Drive release behavior emphasizing discipline and quality
- Determine resource requirements and source talent with Tech Leads or Business Owners
- Integrate change-management elements
- Track delivery issues and risks and escalate as needed
- Validate acceptance criteria and definition of done before accepting features
- Manage Epic and Feature backlogs and Themes
- Shape design, development, and implementation requirements with partners and engineering teams
- Provide training, support documentation, business readiness, and service transition
- Provide consultative support in financial management, organizational change, vendor management, and operational excellence
- Analyze business drivers and metrics using analytics and visualization technology
- Report to the IT Manager and Team Lead - IT
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience
- Typically requires 8 years of related experience in project management, process improvement, and data management
- Background in technology or a related field
- Experience with business and technical requirements analysis, elicitation, modeling, verification, and methodology development
- Demonstrated project management skills and project management software skills, including planning and organizing
- Knowledge of Program Increment planning and PI goals
- Ability to manage Epic and Feature backlogs and Themes
- Ability to define business cases, outcomes, baseline and target metrics, leading and lagging indicators, and KPIs
- Ability to communicate with team members, business partners, project managers, sponsors, stakeholders, and engineering teams
- Equivalent experience may substitute for a Bachelor's Degree
