About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Design, code, modify, develop, and maintain SAP applications for Global Revenue Management and Rockwell Automation requirements
Work closely with the GRM team and other Rockwell Automation SAP functional personnel
Implement and deploy changes to SAP and integrated or interfaced systems, including Vistex and PROS
Construct code based on technical designs in accordance with RA IT development standards
Work with project teams and technical resources within the RA IT Agile framework
Ensure code is documented and navigable for the testing phase
Develop and maintain SAP design and technical specification documents
Conduct unit, integration, and release testing
Support end-user acceptance testing
Participate in production operations and release management support
Assist with upgrades and new releases and monitor technical object performance
Perform code changes and code reviews
Develop enhancements
Analyze and fix IDOC, Web Service, RFC, and Gateway OData issues
Report to the Team Lead - IT

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor's Degree in Relevant Field
1–4 years of experience in ABAP Programming is required
SAP ABAP-L3 (Mandatory)
Experienced in RICEF developments
Strong analytical problem-solving skills
Good communication skills
BAPIs, BADIs, RFCs, IDOCs, LSMW, user exits, BDC coding, and interfaces
SAP ABAP/4 programming using SAPScript, iDocs, BAPI, and RFC
Experience developing and maintaining SAP design and technical specification documents
Experience conducting unit, integration, release, and user acceptance testing
Experience supporting production operations and release management
Experience with SAP upgrades, new releases, and technical object performance monitoring
Preferred: SAP UI5 and Fiori-L3
Preferred: Programming experience in SD and Vistex modules
Preferred: Experience in SAP Enhancement Framework
Preferred: Experience in ABAP Object Oriented Programming
Preferred: Knowledge of web services (SOAP/REST/HTTP POST)
Preferred: Knowledge of web development (PHP, HTML, XSLT, XML, JSON)
Preferred, not required: Analyzing and fixing Gateway OData issues
