About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Own solution architecture and technical delivery across industrial data engagements
Lead engagement teams and define solution architectures and integration strategies
Serve as primary technical advisor to clients deploying industrial data platforms
Design and implement scalable, data-driven solutions using Rockwell and partner technologies, including Cognite Data Fusion, FactoryTalk Data Mosaix, and FactoryTalk Optix
Collaborate with engineering, operations, and business stakeholders to translate industrial challenges into digital solutions
Lead design of end-to-end industrial data solutions
Define data models, integration patterns, and system architectures aligned with business goals
Define architectures leveraging industrial data management solutions, cloud platforms, and edge data ingestion technologies
Ensure scalability, security, and performance of deployed solutions
Understand client business needs and translate them into technical requirements
Present architectural concepts to technical and non-technical audiences
Lead client-facing project implementations
Guide development teams during implementation phases
Oversee data ingestion, contextualization, and visualization workflows
Develop ingestion pipelines, APIs, and integration services
Establish development standards, CI/CD practices, and code quality expectations
Ensure quality assurance and compliance with best practices
Stay current with leading data platforms and industry trends
Mentor junior architects, developers, and engineers
Contribute to internal knowledge sharing and best practices

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor's Degree in Relevant Field
Willingness to travel up to 50%
Typically 6-10 years of related experience working for a Systems Integrator or Consulting organization
Strong understanding and practical experience implementing industrial data systems, including historians, SCADA, PLCs, MES, and ERP
Experience leading technical teams and managing client-facing delivery
Preferred: 5+ years of experience in solution architecture, data engineering, or software development
Preferred: Hands-on experience with Cognite Data Fusion, FactoryTalk Data Mosaix, PTC ThingWorx, or similar industrial data platforms
Preferred: Proficiency in cloud technologies, APIs, and data modeling
Preferred: Experience with Python, SQL, and RESTful APIs
Preferred: Familiarity with time-series data and contextualization techniques
Preferred: Knowledge of industrial domains such as mining, oil & gas, manufacturing, or energy
Preferred: Certifications in cloud and industrial data platforms
Preferred: Prior consulting or system integrator experience
Preferred: Familiarity with machine learning model development and MLOps practices
Preferred: Understanding of data governance, access management, and cybersecurity in industrial contexts
Preferred: Excellent communication skills and ability to interact with both executive and technical stakeholders
Preferred: Experience in asset performance management, production monitoring, or advanced process control
