About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Translate organizational needs into enterprise-wide Data Architecture solutions through design, creation, deployment, and support.
- Design and oversee implementation of complex technical solutions for data infrastructure challenges and requirements.
- Define technical standards, select appropriate technologies, create architectural blueprints, and guide development teams.
- Analyze goals and translate them into technical specifications.
- Design integrated solutions and document architecture.
- Ensure adherence to architectural designs and advise on latest technologies.
- Build a holistic view and roadmap of application technology strategy and processes.
- Partner with stakeholders and technology subject-matter experts to elicit and translate requirements into technological solutions.
- Evaluate complex scenarios and determine the best technical approach.
- Develop guidelines for applying technological frameworks and maintain awareness of organizational best practices.
- Introduce and accelerate new technologies and methodologies supporting digital composable infrastructure.
- Work with multiple partners and influence project decisions.
- Provide secure, scalable architectural solutions with other solution architects.
- Provide cross-product and cross-technology expertise to capability teams.
- Support tactical architecture design and modeling for projects.
- Support reference architecture design and management.
- Contribute to and evaluate solution design and consult during release planning.
- Report to the Technical Leader – CDM/CDL.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor's Degree.
- Legal authorization to work in the US is required.
- Ability to travel up to 10% of time.
- Typically requires 5+ years of relevant architectural experience.
- Degree in computer science, management information systems, or related field.
- Experience building strategic technology plans and roadmaps.
- Experience developing strategies for data acquisition, archive recovery, and implementation of databases.
- Experience designing cloud-based solutions.
- Experience designing data models and defining the structure, attributes, and nomenclature of data elements.
- Ensure all data systems meet company and privacy requirements.
- Maintain data architecture standards across the enterprise.
- A desire for learning, investigation, and understanding and the ability to question solution partners across teams.
- Knowledge of architectural design frameworks, integration frameworks and patterns.
- Database: Azure PaaS SQL.
- Source Control: Azure DevOps/Git Hub Enterprise (Git).
- Infrastructure: Terraform.
- Operating Systems: Windows.
