Key responsibilities & impact

Support architectural designs and execution of team goals
Manage team members to create modular, scalable solutions incorporating future architectural changes
Guide engineering practices in test-driven development, continuous integration, and automated deployment
Coach the technical team and remove roadblocks
Lead the technical vision, design, and execution of data modeling, integration, and platform projects
Bridge business requirements and technical implementation
Lead the design and technological architecture of the product with technical subject matter experts
Guide project teams on coding practices, continuous integration, and automated deployment
Make architecture decisions at team and product level
Work with Product Owners to align roadmaps with technical-stack strengths and opportunities
Advise Product Owners on story creation and acceptance criteria and communicate tradeoffs with Designers
Provide a roadmap for higher software code quality
Share responsibility for building reusable and scalable components
Develop budgets, monitor expenditures, and monitor information technology system performance
Research and implement strategic technology solutions
Assess situations and decisions using multiple relevant perspectives

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor's Degree or Equivalent Years of Relevant Work Experience
Legal authorization to work in the US
No employment visa sponsorship, now or in the future
Occasional international travel required
Typically requires 5 years of management experience
Knowledge of CDM/CDL principles, data modeling, and integration technologies
Proficiency in relevant programming languages
Bachelor's Degree or equivalent years of relevant work experience in software development, data modeling, or related technical roles, with leadership experience
Degree in CS, MIS, Software Engineering, or equivalent engineering/technical discipline
Familiarity with Cloud/DevOps environments including Azure DevOps
Experience in Agile Development, with SAFe experience
Understanding of the relationship with Product Owner, Design Lead and the rest of the technical team
Experience managing technical priorities within the Backlog
