About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Process member financial transactions via Express Teller Machine and other remote channels
  • Greet members in a friendly and professional manner
  • Assist with deposits, withdrawals, transfers, loan payments, stop payments, card orders/replacements, statement/check copies, address changes, general maintenance, and other member needs
  • Use problem-solving and decision-making skills to resolve member requests
  • Take ownership of situations within authority limits or refer them to appropriate credit union personnel
  • Research and complete member work requests through the department ticketing system
  • Maintain knowledge of credit union products and services
  • Identify cross-sell and referral opportunities and make applicable suggestions
  • Participate in credit union promotions
  • Maintain technical knowledge needed to perform duties
  • Perform other duties as needed or assigned
  • Interact with members regularly via video, phones, chat, and email

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • One month to twelve months of similar or related experience
  • High school education or GED
  • Good listening, verbal, and written communication skills
  • Professional telephone/on-screen skills
  • Professional appearance/demeanor
  • Technical knowledge with good computer/keyboarding skills
  • 10-key calculator skills
  • Good eye for detail/quality
  • Good organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to adjust or move objects up to 30 pounds in all directions
  • Ability to remain stationary, often standing or sitting for prolonged periods
  • Ability to perform repetitive wrist, hand, and finger motions while using a computer
  • Close and continuous visual acuity for preparing and analyzing data and figures, transcribing, viewing a computer terminal, and extensive reading
  • Ability to work Saturdays
  • Ability to work evenings and weekends for meetings and events
  • May be required to travel to credit union facilities/regions
  • May be required to wear a uniform
  • Must complete a drug screening test within 48 hours of employment offer
