About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Build the end-to-end order- and revenue-level demand forecasting function across European markets
Own daily and weekly production of group demand forecasts for orders, SKU/order, and intraday shapes across markets, fulfillment centers, and planning horizons
Drive forecast accuracy and bias performance, targeting 98% accuracy at order/revenue level
Conduct root-cause analyses on forecast deviations and implement corrective actions
Build and own demand review packs and scenario models for the S&OP cycle, including quantified upside and downside cases
Translate demand into inventory, warehouse workload, labor, throughput, and delivery requirements
Automate manual routines alongside BI and Engineering teams
Prepare daily and weekly analyses, data, and options for executive updates and S&OP governance
Lead forecasting preparation for campaigns, seasonal transitions, and peak events
Document assumptions and rationale for manual adjustments
Partner with market planners, Category, Marketing, Fulfillment, Last Mile, and BI teams
Identify process gaps and improve departmental resilience

Requirements

What you’ll need

3+ years of experience in Demand Planning, Forecasting, Supply Chain Planning, or Business Analytics
Hands-on ownership of a recurring forecast within a high-velocity retail, e-commerce, logistics, or operational environment
Advanced command of forecasting methodologies, scenario modeling, and forecast accuracy metrics
Advanced spreadsheet modeling and SQL (or equivalent) to query large data sets independently
Ability to specify tooling improvements and drive automation alongside engineering/BI teams
Working knowledge of BI and visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, Looker, or similar
Ability to enforce standards and deadlines across multiple markets and communicate analytic insights to non-technical stakeholders
Fluent English
Background in online grocery or fresh/perishable goods retail preferred
Prior exposure to an established S&OP / IBP cycle preferred
Experience converting demand forecasts into labor, fulfillment, or transport requirements preferred
Scripting or automation experience with Python or similar preferred
Knowledge of Czech or Slovak is a plus
