About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Architect the OIC integration solution, including connection strategy, error handling framework, lookup table structure, and OIC Project organisation
Define and enforce integration build standards, naming conventions, mandatory components, XSL mapping standards, and deployment checklists
Build architecturally demanding OIC integration flows
Review junior developer builds for design and standards conformance
Own the Dev-to-Test-to-UAT-to-Prod deployment pipeline
Manage integration versioning, rollback procedures, and externalised connection parameters
Present integration architecture and status to client IT architects
Explain design decisions and maintain the integration risk register
Facilitate discussions about Oracle platform capabilities and limitations
Produce the technical handover package, including architecture documentation, error handling runbook, connection configuration guide, monitoring and alerting setup, and post-go-live support model

Requirements

What you’ll need

4–5 years of Oracle Integration Cloud development experience with technical team leadership or architecture ownership on at least two live programmes
Proven OIC solution architecture capability, including designing connection strategy, error framework, and deployment pipeline for a multi-integration engagement
Advanced XSLT, adapter, and fault handling capability
Ability to build and review complex integrations and identify architectural issues in junior developer builds
Experience owning integration testing cycles and managing defect resolution to UAT sign-off
Demonstrated technical documentation and handover capability
Preferred: Oracle Cloud Platform Application Integration 2025 Professional certification
Preferred: Oracle Cloud Infrastructure 2025 Foundations Associate or higher
Preferred: Oracle Global Human Resources Cloud Implementation Professional certification
Preferred: Oracle Visual Builder Cloud Service hands-on experience
Ability to present solution design decisions to client IT architects and defend them with rationale
Ability to define and enforce naming, error handling, and deployment standards across a developer team
Ability to produce maintainable post-go-live technical documentation
Developer team leadership and structured feedback capability
Ability to communicate integration risks and technical failures in business-impact language
Commercial awareness of re-work, programme time, and margin
