About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Design, develop, and validate high-density PCBs for automotive Network Access Device modules integrating cellular 2G/3G/4G/5G, Wi-Fi, GNSS, and V2X technologies
  • Collaborate with senior engineers, hardware architects, and cross-functional teams
  • Deliver robust, cost-effective, production-ready PCB solutions meeting automotive performance, quality, reliability, manufacturability, and regulatory requirements
  • Own PCB design for modules, related fixtures, and development-kit boards
  • Maintain DFM documents, manufacturer documentation, PCB libraries, design rules, and processes
  • Manage project PCB development activities supporting technical release and schedules
  • Perform PCB physical layout, routing, and verification, including impedance, copper balance, and design-complexity cost control
  • Generate component libraries for hardware and other PCB designers
  • Generate Gerber files and manufacturing documentation for factories
  • Identify potential problems and propose suitable solutions
  • Conduct DFM reviews with PCB vendors and SMT factories
  • Ensure design-for-reliability compliance with AEC-Q104 quality standards

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor or above, major in Electronic Engineering, Computer Science or equivalent
  • At least 5 years’ experience in HDI PCB design of wireless products
  • Experience in wireless high-frequency RF layout preferred
  • Skillful in using EDA tools
  • Proficient in Mentor Graphic, DxDesigner, Cadence (Allegro), AutoCAD, and CAM350
  • Experience solving ESD, EMI, signal integrity, and power noise issues in high-density and high-frequency products
  • Familiar with simulation and signal integrity analysis
  • Good teamwork capability and high execution
  • Familiar with PCB material, stack-up, and fabrication
  • Familiar with design for manufacture
  • Good English communication skill is required
  • Chinese language capability is a plus
