About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Collaborate with product managers, designers, analysts, and engineers to deliver robust technical solutions
Design, develop, and maintain scalable, performant, and maintainable features across the stack
Write clean, efficient, documented code for the React Native mobile app and backend services
Participate in technical design discussions and architectural decisions
Lead by example through high-quality code, peer reviews, and mentoring early-career engineers
Own feature testing, including Jest unit tests and Cypress end-to-end tests
Investigate and resolve production issues and improve observability and platform reliability
Partner with DevOps and infrastructure teams on deployments, CI/CD workflows, and system performance
Stay current with industry trends and introduce improvements to tools, processes, and technologies

Requirements

What you’ll need

2–4 years of professional experience as a Software Engineer
Strong proficiency in TypeScript/JavaScript
Mobile development experience, such as React Native or another mobile framework
Experience with Node, Express, React, AWS, and relational databases
Proficiency writing complex and efficient SQL queries
Experience working with a growing team and early-stage startup strongly preferred
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Degree in Computer Science or relevant field preferred
Self-driven, problem-solving and research ability
Agility and flexibility in an evolving environment
Empathy, collaboration, integrity, authenticity, high ethical standards, attention to detail, and a positive attitude
