Key responsibilities & impact
  • Lead multiple inter-related projects toward a common business objective
  • Provide overall management support to ensure projects progress toward the program objective
  • Lead program deliverables and execute the program vision
  • Serve as the single point of contact for Project Managers and business stakeholders
  • Plan and monitor program execution
  • Create detailed project plans, schedules, task breakdown structures, and milestones aligned with program requirements
  • Capture requirements information for project documentation
  • Share and coordinate common resources across the program
  • Leverage lessons learned
  • Use project and program management tools and processes
  • Coordinate Command Center logistics and go-live communications
  • Provide executive-level reports and status updates
  • Track assigned projects against milestones and budget
  • Identify and mitigate program-level risks proactively
  • Ensure project data accuracy, quality, consistency, and alignment with stakeholder expectations and key metrics

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Project Management Professional – Project Management Institute (required)
  • Associates Degree (required)
  • 7-10 years’ experience in Project Management (required)
  • 5 years’ experience coordinating and / supporting IT business processes (preferred)
  • Strong business acumen related to assessing business readiness and mitigation plans
  • Ability to recognize acronyms and understand industry and internal business initiatives and strategic directives
  • Strong interpersonal skills with project managers, project teams, and initiative leadership
  • Effective verbal, written, and formal presentation communication skills
  • Must be local to the Charleston, SC Tri-County area
  • Must be able to travel to the worksite monthly
  • Long-distance or air travel as needed, not to exceed 10% travel
  • Required to car travel to off-site locations, occasionally in adverse weather conditions
