About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Monitor electrical installations and ensure work meets Rosendin standards and project specifications
  • Cooperate with the general contractor and/or customer in managing projects, schedules and employees
  • Manage productivity, safety, quality control, labor costs, scheduling and manpower movement
  • Manage and assign tasks to crew members while maintaining accurate labor tracking logs
  • Establish project goals and monitor progress
  • Manage purchase orders and ensure materials are received according to procedures
  • Adhere to contract document changes and change order notice-to-proceed policies
  • Utilize prefabrication facilities and company-wide installation methods and policies
  • Ensure required safety equipment, materials and tools are onsite
  • Notify the General Foreman of crew changes
  • Anticipate and resolve potential issues
  • Ensure crew members start and finish shifts on time and maintain legally required breaks
  • Conduct performance evaluations of crew members
  • Maintain accurate as-builts
  • Communicate with project owners, architects, general contractors, management and crew members
  • Ensure work meets NEC, federal, state, county and local codes and contract documents
  • Follow Rosendin, state and federal safety policies and procedures

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • State Issued Electrical license, where applicable by state requirement
  • 5 years of Electrical Experience
  • Experience in a Foreman, Superintendent or other electrical leadership role
  • Ability to perform ladder climbing, wire pulling and conduit pulling
  • Ability to walk, climb, lift, squat, crawl, kneel, push, pull and reach overhead routinely
  • Ability to stand for long periods while performing repetitive actions
  • Ability to work from ladders, man lifts or reach booms
  • Ability to lift 50 lbs. from ground and pull 50 lbs. of force
  • Ability to climb or balance on scaffolding or ladders
  • Ability to handle cable, wires, tools and other equipment
  • Ability to work at heights without fear of heights
  • Ability to see and hear, or have corrected vision and hearing
  • Ability to distinguish color coded wires
  • Ability to use peripheral vision, depth perception and adjust vision focus
