About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Manage project budgets, projections, and resource needs
  • Identify scope variances and assist with corrective actions to meet target margins and customer satisfaction goals
  • Prepare complete project estimates through detailed review of plans, scope, and provided information
  • Plan and organize engineering projects under team lead and/or director direction
  • Prepare proposals and Engineering Potential Change Orders (EPCOs) with the team lead
  • Submit proposals and EPCOs through the official platform and incorporate them into team records
  • Validate and document customer acceptance of proposals and EPCOs
  • Incorporate approved proposals and EPCOs into Fusion project budgets
  • Maintain project progress logs
  • Update resource projections monthly
  • Track project management funding for designated project cost codes
  • Monitor timelines and schedules, including weekly check-ins as milestones approach
  • Coordinate with Rosendin Production, Operations, and Engineers for cost-effective and timely results
  • Represent the team and project in non-technical meetings and present proposals and project outlines when needed
  • Ensure financial records are accurate before contract due dates
  • Submit weekly project financial management reports covering expense versus budget, labor versus budget, and project progress versus timeline
  • Document and continuously update business processes unique to the Engineering Power Projects Team

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks, changing priorities as necessary
  • Ability to work under time pressure and adapt to changing requirements with a positive attitude
  • Effective oral and written communication skills as required for the position
  • Ability to be self-motivated, proactive and an effective team player
  • Ability to interact effectively and professionally with all levels of employees, management, staff, vendors, clients, and others
  • Proficient in using a computer and Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, etc.); Oracle preferred
  • 3-5+ years of experience within the construction industry
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Construction Management, Engineering, or related field
  • Experience and/or knowledge in finance, scheduling, management, and engineering preferred
  • Combination of education, training, and relevant experience accepted
  • Ability to travel up to 25% to job sites, client meetings, and Rosendin offices nationwide
  • Ability to work at a computer for extended periods
  • Ability to navigate active construction environments and varying weather, noise, dust, and uneven terrain
  • Ability to climb ladders or stairs, stand for extended periods, and occasionally lift and carry up to 25 lbs
  • Adherence to company and job-site safety protocols and required PPE
