About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Assist engineers with electrical system design activities, including power, lighting, and auxiliary systems
- Support preparation and review of drawings, specifications, and technical documentation
- Assist with basic electrical calculations, engineering analyses, and project-related deliverables
- Participate in project meetings and collaborate with engineering and construction teams
- Support field visits and site observations to gain exposure to project execution and existing electrical systems
- Learn and utilize industry software, tools, and engineering best practices
- Provide administrative and technical support to the engineering team
- Contribute to active electrical construction projects and take ownership of meaningful work
Requirements
What you’ll need- Currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in a field aligned with Rosendin's work
- Expected graduation date of December 2027 or later
- Rising junior or rising senior status preferred
- Basic understanding of engineering principles and concepts
- Familiarity with or willingness to learn Autodesk (AutoCAD/Revit), Microsoft Office, and engineering analysis software
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to follow direction, ask questions, and take initiative
- Positive attitude and eagerness to learn in a team environment
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced setting
- Previous construction or engineering internship experience a plus
- Ability to perform construction-site activities including sitting, standing, walking, typing, carrying, pushing, and bending
- Occasional lifting of up to 30 lbs.
