About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Support active construction projects and safety initiatives
- Gain exposure to health, safety, and environmental programs, policies, and regulations
- Work alongside experienced safety professionals on active construction projects
- Apply classroom learning in a fast-paced construction environment
- Work closely with HSE Specialists and project teams
- Contribute to initiatives that support a strong safety culture
- Develop technical, professional, and leadership skills
- Work primarily on active construction sites with varying environmental conditions
- Operate in noise levels ranging from low to high depending on jobsite activity
Requirements
What you’ll need- Currently pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree in a field aligned with Rosendin’s work, including Occupational Health & Safety or Public Health
- Graduation date of December 2027 or later
- Rising junior or rising senior status strongly preferred
- Prior construction or safety-related internship experience is a plus, but not required
- Ability to spend significant time on active construction sites (approximately 80%)
- Ability to perform work involving standing, walking, sitting, typing, bending, and light lifting
- Occasional lifting of up to 30 lbs
- Coachability and curiosity; eagerness to learn, seek feedback, and take initiative
- Accountability and work ethic; ability to take ownership, follow through, and deliver high-quality work
- Learning agility and adaptability in fast-paced environments
- Ability to collaborate and communicate clearly and professionally
