Key responsibilities & impact
  • Drive the Search Experience product at Rover to help pet parents find the best-matched care provider
  • Craft intuitive, high-performing search experiences that improve outcomes for owners and sitters
  • Understand how predictive models determine the “best match” for care providers
  • Partner with UX and Data Science to translate model insights into user-friendly explanations
  • Explore new technologies to streamline pet parents’ decision-making and personalize search results
  • Improve the overall design and functionality of the search experience
  • Enable searchers to succeed throughout their customer journey

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 3+ years of professional product management experience, preferably in search, discovery, or content ranking systems
  • Experience building features related to search and e-commerce, such as personalization, recommendations, and digital shopping experiences
  • Experience partnering with UX teams to build great online experiences for users
  • Deep customer empathy and experience applying user research and behavioral data to guide decisions
  • Proven success delivering complex, data-intensive products with measurable customer impact
  • Strong proficiency in data analysis, experimentation, and KPI tracking (SQL, dashboards, A/B testing frameworks)
  • Experience with product experimentation frameworks
  • Familiarity with the challenges of operating a two-sided marketplace
  • Proficiency with AI applications in workflows
  • Effective communication with collaborators and stakeholders across teams
  • Bias for action, comfort with ambiguity, and strong sense of ownership
