About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Join Rover’s Discovery team focused on scalable, diversified product-led growth across channels
  • Lead Rover-wide AEO and SEO growth as a product surface
  • Perform analysis, reporting, prioritization, and stakeholder management
  • Own and autonomously launch new landing pages to grow organic and answer-engine visibility and new bookings
  • Discover emerging AEO/SEO opportunities and focus areas
  • Evaluate opportunities against other business priorities
  • Work with development, content, design, analytics, and international teams to execute projects
  • Research ideas and formulate concrete proposals
  • Set up and execute tests and measure test results
  • Build and use AI-assisted workflows for opportunity discovery, answer-engine visibility tracking, analysis and reporting, page QA, and test design
  • Own the accuracy, quality, and outcomes of shipped work

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 5+ years of SEO experience spanning technical, content, international, and multi-brand optimizations, as well as experience with, or a demonstrated point of view on, answer-engine optimization
  • 2+ years of product management or project management experience
  • Experience partnering with UX and engineering to bring features to life
  • Experience driving and navigating cross-functional collaboration to move forward outcomes
  • Experience with testing, funnel analysis, and data analytics
  • Excellent organizational, analytical, and communication skills
  • Comfort with SQL and using spreadsheets to model opportunities (Excel/Google Sheets)
  • Experience in growth product and familiarity with marketing technology and tracking tools
  • Hands-on experience using LLMs or other AI tools to improve your own work and sound judgment about what needs human verification
  • BS in Marketing, Computer Science, Mathematics, Economics, or a related technical field or equivalent practical experience
  • Curiosity and enthusiasm for growing Rover’s business
  • Hypothesis-driven thinking, research, and experimentation
  • Ability to partner with content and engineering to set a long-term vision and break it down into smaller investments
  • Passion for understanding customers and their needs on both sides of the marketplace
  • Creativity in exploring growth tactics across multiple channels
  • Ability to derive insights from data and use them to make decisions and drive growth
  • Ability to build repeatable AI-assisted workflows, document them for reuse, and verify outputs
