About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Design, run, and read out experiments for the Pricing Experience team, focusing on geo and market-level tests
  • Use experiment results to recommend which changes to move forward with, including when data is ambiguous
  • Partner with the Pricing Experience PM and Data Scientist to find and size opportunities and shape the roadmap
  • Build analyses such as elasticity models
  • Present findings and recommendations to senior leadership and the product organization
  • Serve as the analytics point of contact for price-related data
  • Track how price-related data affects key marketplace metrics
  • Support data-driven pricing experience decisions, marketplace performance analysis, root-cause investigation, and solution development

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 5+ years of experience in analytics
  • Experience designing and analyzing A/B tests and quasi-experiments, with a working knowledge of causal inference methods (e.g. difference-in-differences, synthetic control)
  • A track record of owning analyses end to end in ambiguous or new areas where metrics weren't already defined, and using data to influence product decisions
  • Strong written and verbal communication, with the ability to explain complex or ambiguous findings clearly to technical and non-technical audiences
  • Strong SQL and Python skills, plus experience with BI visualization tools
  • Regular, effective use of LLM tools in your analytics work
  • Candidates must be based in the Greater Seattle Area
  • Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis, without the need for current or future employer sponsorship for an employment-based visa status
