About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Converge stakeholders on the problem, scope, decision ownership, and success measures
- Own execution strategy, sequencing, priorities, and cross-functional delivery
- Drive decisions by framing trade-offs, making recommendations, identifying decision makers, and landing decisions
- Align teams across organizational boundaries and resolve conflicting priorities
- Partner with engineering on architecture implications, dependencies, data integrity, rollout, and cutover planning
- Define and report KPIs for program health, risk, progress, and post-launch success
- Maintain program artifacts including charters, plans, dependency maps, risk registers, and decision logs
- Own launch and delivery readiness through go-live and subsequent measurement
- Use AI tools to automate reporting and tracking and build workflows and frameworks
- Ramp quickly in unfamiliar domains and build credibility with new teams
- Connect Seattle and Barcelona teams and contribute to Rover’s TPM practice
Requirements
What you’ll need- 8+ years driving complex, cross-functional technical programs
- Experience ideally at a marketplace, consumer tech, or SaaS company
- Track record of owning high-complexity, ambiguous programs end to end across multiple domains and stakeholder groups
- Ability to work through ambiguous situations and incomplete or conflicting information
- High agency in driving decisions and strong stakeholder alignment across organizational lines, including senior leadership
- Judgment under uncertainty and ability to explain decisions
- Technical acumen to read dependency chains, evaluate trade-offs, debate technical approaches, and identify sequencing and architectural risks
- Strong program management skills, including planning, status processes, decision-making cadence, metrics, risk identification, and post-launch measurement
- Ability to communicate technically and non-technically and bridge between both
- Experience pushing AI tools further through automation, custom workflows, or frameworks
- Nice to have: depth in more than one technical domain, such as platform/infrastructure, consumer product, payments, or data
- Nice to have: experience running programs across a globally distributed organization and different time zones
- Must be based in the Greater Seattle Area or willing to relocate
